Welion's goal is to build healthcare models based on customer needs to design, organize and deliver innovative, high quality healthcare services at sustainable costs, especially in this time of health emergency for Covid-19.

Due to the emergency many ordinary healthcare services are questioned and consequently support for daily needs may be insufficient (consultations, prescriptions, advice on symptoms other than virus). Welion offers the medical teleconsultation with the aim to bring healthcare close to people and being LifeTime Partners of our customers.

The service provides medical advice both telephone or video from General Practitioner's Office, tele-prescription of medicines or advice on medications to be taken.

The operational medical centre is available every day H 24 to advise and guide patients in the best possible way during the treatment process.

Welion wants to be a reference point in the health sector for users and restore a dimension of proximity to healthcare especially when, despite quarantine, users need medical advice and cannot go to health care facilities.

Considering the contingent period of emergency from Coronavirus the service has been prepared both for insurance companies that integrate it in their offer, and for market companies that want to make available to their employees a medical advice.

Generali Welion identified the growing demand from individuals to take care of their own health and wellbeing. With this service Welion expands healthcare services provided; in addition to traditional channels, it allows the simple use of telemedicine services.

Uniqueness of the project

The teleconsultation service wants to give an immediate medical response to users.

Considering the contingent period of emergency from Coronavirus the service has been developed both for insurance companies that integrate it in their offer, and for market companies that want to make available to their employees a medical advice.

The operational medical centre is available every day H 24 to advise and guide patients in the best possible way during the treatment process for:

• Evaluation of medical reports and therapeutic indications

• Directions to the nearest hospital

• General and paediatric medicine advice

• Report by e-mail

• Tele-prescription medicines

• Recipe sent via pec to the nearest pharmacy

The service is characterized by a modularity offer, in combination with the medical teleconsultation, it’s possible to take advantage of other digital and physical network services such as telemedicine, check-ups and access to the health facilities network at special rates.
