Code.YapıKredi is a software development program which provides education and support for those young minds with potential. The program includes coding trainings, financial guidance, incubation, accelaration and investment.
Innovation presentation
Expressing Yapı Kredi’s commitment as Turkey’s digital bank to support the youth and innovators, we have established an open and free-of-charge platform called ‘Code.YapıKredi’ for everyone who wish to learn software development and utilize their knowledge to contribute to Fintech products. Code.YapıKredi is a comprehensive platform including coding trainings, financial guidance, incubation, accelaration and investment. Program has started with code trainings and will continue with mentorship of experts in the field, basic algorithm training including but not limited to Android and iOS, Scratch and AppInventor, seminars and special common work spaces. We will also provide financial technology implementation programming interfaces (OpenBankingAPI) to software developers, thus contributing to the development of the Fintech ecosystem. By doing so, we will provide guidance for entrepreneurs who want to take their ideas to the next step, and help them to establish their FinTech start-ups.
Uniqueness of the project
Although there are similar platforms in Turkey, Code.YapiKredi is one of a kind since it is the most extensive one.
Unlike one-off events, Code.YapıKredi program supports the potential at every stage and embrace everyone from a ten year student to a developer or an enterpreneur. Our target is to reach millions of people in Turkey and pave the way for establishment of dozens Fintech company in a couple of years.
