CaixaBank's objective is to increase investment opportunities for all its customers, innovating and expanding the range of investment products on offer in its digital banking (CaixaBankNow), so that the customers themselves, at their own discretion and initiative, can carry out their transactions in a flexible, simple and efficient way, with the best experience.

This objective includes the Fixed Income Platform, which provides users with the independence and autonomy to trade (buy and sell) more than 1,500 public or private, national and international fixed income issues, in euros or foreign currencies, in an agile and simple way, allowing them to send as many requests as they wish, at their convenience, and being able to know in the bid and offer prices, the nominal value, the coupon, the IRR, the maturity, etc., of the issue of its interest, and receive confirmation of execution upon completion of the order, all in real time. All this without intermediaries, without having to wait to contact a manager/broker by telephone.

This solution is currently unrivalled in the Spanish banking sector.

The idea was promoted and coordinated by the bank's Digital Channels and Markets areas, with complementary interests in the current economic context, where fixed income transactions are gaining relevance according to market trends, driven in Spain by the low deposit yields and high inflation rates we are experiencing.

Internal and external departments and partners involved include Markets, Digital Channels (Broker Team), Securities (Product, Marketing and Systems), SIL/BDI, MUREX, Legal Advisory, Compliance, Architecture, IT Security, CLI/CLO/NME, CECABank and All Funds.
