Discovery’s unique comprehensive data assets have transformed the financial adviser experience by enabling the introduction of a digital integrated sales platform, enabling a holistic view of clients’ profiles across all financial, health and lifestyle information and enabling real-time personalized client opportunities.

Adviser Insights is an online dashboard available on Discovery’s online sales platform, that has been personalized specifically to each financial adviser’s client’s portfolio to identify relevant cross-sell and up-sell opportunities across the Discovery ecosystem. This platform uses big data across the Discovery network and sophisticated propensity modelling to identify opportunities across advisers’ books while factoring in key milestones identified in the clients’ lives.

This dashboard enables a client-centric, end-to-end new business and digital servicing process, with real-time opportunities to meet new and existing client needs and simplifies the quoting and compliance processes through dynamic pre-population into the financial planning journey.

This enables advisers to have a holistic understanding of their clients and their needs as well as a streamlined approach to servicing these clients. This is made possible through personalised opportunities based on identifying client life events that could trigger a new or changing need, highlighting the need for a new Discovery product or a change to an existing one.

The financial adviser is empowered with targeted marketing support and campaigns to assist in the interaction with the client when they reach out to them about the opportunity. In addition, Discovery’s Shared-value mechanisms are further enabled through illustrations of financial rewards and their interactions with products over the client’s lifetime for each new business or servicing opportunity presented.

Unlocking the breadth and depth of Discovery’s data assets results in advisers being fully equipped with all the knowledge about their client’s needs and current products, as well as any gaps in their financial planning and any arising opportunities available to fulfil this gap. This allows them to easily provide holistic advice by providing product and benefit recommendations best suited to their client’s needs. Products and benefits can then be activated in a seamless new business and servicing journey through the digital integrated sales platform.

Underpinned by the integration of the unique data assets across the Discovery ecosystem, Adviser Insights is a market first centralised opportunity engine that directly links into our Digital integrated sales platform. Using the interconnectedness of the Discovery group and its data assets, this platform is home to all the product houses in the Discovery ecosystem, offering advisers a complete and holistic view of the various cross-sell and up-sell opportunities available to their clients by providing insights into the gaps in existing cover and appropriate recommendations to close those gaps.

While competitors may offer online and integrated platforms, no other company has been able to provide their advisers with a centralised opportunity engine providing a complete and holistic overview of all the opportunities available to their clients. With capabilities of Adviser Insights, our advisers are able to keep up with the ever-changing needs of our clients as a result of the real-time data Discovery has access to, ensuring that their cover is appropriate for their current life situation.

The summation of information on the platform allows our advisers to be equipped in providing comprehensive and reliable advice to their clients, ensuring they are protected with the latest products and benefits, while creating a single, streamlined servicing journey for multiple servicing opportunities. This provides a unique adviser-client servicing experience.
