We designed and created Nays app to meet increasing demand for better and distinctive customer experience of new generation users. As of June 21, 2022, Nays took its place in application markets with its easy, gamified and enjoyable customer experience. In terms of Turkish market competition dynamics, there are over 45 million people below the age of 35, with over 70% smartphone penetration and more than 85 million active mobile bank accounts. Additionally, there are over 10 million new digital accounts created every year, with over 550 fintechs and 30 payment and 44 e-money institutions. In this dynamic market landscape, Nays has emerged as a true game-changer.
By listening to the needs of our customers, we were able to create something truly special. We spoke with over 1,000 people and learned that they wanted a financial app that was easy to use and understand. So we designed Nays - the next generation daily finance application - to meet these evolving expectations. With Nays, users can easily on-board with a very quick registration and enjoy a seamless customer experience that makes managing your finances a breeze. We’re proud to offer a lean, clear solution that helps you take control of your money and achieve your goals.

Thanks to its easy, gamified and enjoyable customer experience, coupled with cost-free services, Nays app rose to the top in application markets in the first week and it reached 1 million downloads in the first three months. As of August 2023, Nays has achieved remarkable growth, boasting 3.5 million downloads and 2.5 million registered users. Remarkably, 60% of our registered users are under the age of 30, with 70% being new to banking.
The “invite and win (referral)” and “win now game” features were particularly popular among young constumers, so we reached 2.5 million download in just 10 months that our competitors reached in a long period of time such as 20-50 months. This is an evidence to Nays’ innovative approach and its ability to connect with younger generations.
Moreover, Nays has facilitated over 11.1 billion TL worth of financial transactions within the app, with 637 million TL in purchases made using Nays Cards. Users have also availed 280 million TL in loans within just 12 months.
In our relentless pursuit of excellence, we continuously gather feedback from customers through qualitative and quantitative research. We harness these insights to fuel innovation, leveraging our gamification tools and devising new game mechanisms. Our aim is to empower users with financial literacy, believing it to be the key to unlocking their financial potential and dreams. Through Nays, users can learn, grow, and earn rewards on their financial journey.
In our future vision, we will make Nays more fun and engaging by adding gamification features. We want to turn our customer’s investment journey into an exciting game they want to play. We’re planning to integrate a popular game into Nays so that users can enjoy it while accumulating rewards.
