Innovation presentation
BMO Insurance has taken a strong approach in prioritizing our Winning Culture and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion within our business. Since 2019, we have double downed on our efforts in alignment with the enterprises 5-year Strategy. BMO Insurance has differentiated itself from its peers in how we have executed concrete initiatives to support our values.
Our employees enable us to deliver a best-in-class client experience and strong business growth. As a business, we remain committed to investing in their professional development and have launched ‘Insurance Academy’.
‘Insurance Academy’ is our new professional development program which aligns to BMO’s core values and winning culture. This new program focuses on 3 distinct areas: 1) 1.) leadership development
2.) enhancing new employee onboarding
3.) professional growth.
The BMO Insurance Winning Culture and DEI vision is to improve overall education and awareness of diversity, equity and inclusion through consistent communications, employee-led workshops and senior management engagement resulting in improved allyship and zero barriers to inclusion. This is led by internal committee members at BMO Insurance who are dedicated to delivering a culture where all are included.
The spirit of volunteering is also at the heart of our winning culture and is one of the ways we act on our commitment to Boldly Grow the Good in business and life. It is also our way of connecting with our communities, sharing our passion with others, and helping to close the fairness gap to create a level playing field for all.
At BMO, our multi-year strategy, Zero Barriers to Inclusion 2025, supports equity, equality, and inclusion. We’re focused on providing access to opportunities and enabling growth for our customers, our colleagues and the communities we serve. BMO Insurance is dedicated to ensuring an equitable employee experience for all, supporting inclusion and improving access to development and career advancement for colleagues facing systemic barriers.
Since 2009, BMO Insurance has been located at 60 Yonge Street in Toronto and has been our business headquarters where we have built a strong brand through the integrity of our actions, commitment to continuous innovation and taking pride in protecting our clients. Many employees have been working at 60 Yonge long before it became BMO Insurance the building is only one part of the story - our people and our clients are the foundation for our legacy.
At the end of May, BMO Insurance will be moving to a new space at 250 Yonge. This new space will further enhance our culture, create cross functional collaboration and support a comfortable work environment.
