Aktif Nokta is the first ever versatile distribution channel where customers get banking and many other non-financial retail services at the same time. With Aktif Nokta waiting in the queues is out of fashion where all customers can get services by their neighborhoods.

SMEs like grocery stores, stationery stores, petrol stations are the target merchant categories.

Aktif Nokta is a network around with a thousand merchants (growing day by day) mostly grocery stores and petrol stations, with a secure and touch-screen device which offers customers to buy catalogue products, top-up GSM air time, make Money transfers, bill payments, banking&insurance applications, top-up transportation cards in some cities, buy intercity bus tickets and buy flight tickets, is the first in ‘store in store’ concept in Turkey. Aktif Nokta is being developed for new operations with the increasing number of dealers.

Our goal is to have the biggest network in Turkey within 3 years having around 20.000 merchants.

From 01.01.2013 to now we reached 3.9 million transactions and 84 million TL turnovers. Our aim is to make one million transactions, 35 million turnovers every day.

We are officially supported by TÜBİTAK (TEYDEB) - Technology and Innovation Funding Programs Directorate. We have exclusive contract with Petrol Ofisi which has the largest petrol station network in Turkey. We have contracted over 60 utility institutions for bill payments. We have agreements with the all major GSM operators for topping-up GSM air-time in Turkey.

Uniqueness of the project

Aktif Nokta operations on the device are being developed in a hybrid model which is on both insource & outsource resources. The software is %100 percent native and consistently improved. Patent application is on progress and our model is supported by TUBITAK (Technology and Innovation Funding Programs Directorate.)

We are able to differentiate what we offer by cities and dealers. Therefore we can customize the services according to the location. What we offer to the final consumer is money transfer, bill payment, prepaid mobile recharge, top up prepaid city card, insurance application, intercity bus and airline tickets, catalogue products. Many more applications are on the way…

Our customers can pay their bills 7/24, top-up GSM air time , can buy a gift to their beloved ones, top-up their prepaid city card in some cities, buy bus or flight ticket from major companies. Most of our dealers are open at the weekends and all petrol stations serve 24 hours a day.

Our dealers can create their own loyalty program using Aktif Nokta loyalty card system. They can give their own personalized card to their customer to follow up customer’s information and offer their own campaigns. They can send SMS to their customers using Aktif Nokta device, they can even receive orders from their customer by SMS. They can use the agenda to save their important information. They can even follow their customer’s credit history on Aktif Nokta. There is also a TV application on the device that dealers can watch TV channels.

The average dealer who use Aktif Nokta can earn up to 2.500 $ monthly by Aktif Nokta device.

All transactions can be controlled with receipt no on the website or by sending SMS to 6020 or calling the Call Center. Call Center 444 60 20 is at the service of Aktif Nokta customers and merchants all around Turkey 24/7.

Aktif Nokta terminal has two touch screens. First one is on the merchant side and the second one is to the customer side which is very easy to use, just like a mobile phone. Thanks to two screens, customers can do their own operations that they might not want to share their personal information like credit card numbers, or phone numbers with the merchant. That makes Aktif Nokta more secure. All data is encrypted using SSL connections. If customer cannot use the terminal somehow, then he can refer to the dealer and the dealer can continue the transaction. That is when the dealer screen matters actually.
