Therefore, by re-imagining customer experience, we have turned Yapı Kredi Mobile into a super app and called it “My World”. Our motto is “Yapı Kredi Mobile is the app of your life!” We have started with My Car+ as a first in the sector, and this year added My Home+, My Bank+ (for other bank accounts) and My Trips+.

As Yapı Kredi, we are aware of the fact that the service sector is transforming day by day with digitalization and the users have more alternative every day. We develop our banking services in order to maximize the user experience of our customers and make their lives easier. We offer our innovations in a way that our customers can adapt to the latest technological advances in the fastest way. In the light of this perspective, by re-imagining customer experience, we have turned Yapı Kredi Mobile into a super app and called it “My World”. We have started with My Car+ (Aracım+), which is a first in the sector, and aimed to approach car owners’ needs in a unique way. We aspire to give our customers a perfect experience at a single point for their car. With My Car+ mini app (which is a first in sector), we have enabled our customers to access numerous services related to their vehicles from a single point. In the same way, My Home+ enables our customers to monitor their household expenditures on a monthly basis and to manage numerous transactions related to home such as credit and insurance from a single platform. Furthermore, Yapı Kredi Mobile sends My Car+ and My Home+ users smart notifications at moment of truth. For instance, if your Casco insurance is about to expired, My Car+ not only reminds it you in advance but also provide you an advantageous insurance proposal for policy renewal.
My Trip+ allows our customers to plan their travels, obtain travel health insurance, and pay Passport and International Departure Fees. Users are enable to also access travel consumer loan application screens and SETUR Yapı Kredi Travel Line or AVIS Car Rental screen from the application.
“Open Banking”, where you can share your financial data with any third-party institutions in order to create a versatile banking experience, offers our customers a reliable and transparent service model. By adding their accounts in other banks to our application, our customers can access the information and movements of their accounts through our application from MyBank+ Platform. By viewing their demand deposits in other banks on Yapı Kredi Mobile, they can make in-app payments from an account of another bank. Thanks to this application, our customers can benefit from the ease of use of Yapı Kredi Mobile without having to make transactions from other banking applications.
Uniqueness of the project
Super app concept is now new. In fact it’s born in Asian countries with high population. Some companies, especially e-commerce sector- saw the opportunity to utilize vast amount of mobile traffic and gathered the mini apps under the same roof. But it was just a functionality aggregation, it was not providing a holistic experience. As Yapı Kredi, we have differentiated ourselves by focusing on “real customer needs” and made full integrations, not just gathered relevant functions. While creating our super app concept, we have redesigned our software architecture as well. For instance, we have integrated AVIS car rent function on My Car+ that allows users rent their car without entering credit card info from scratch. Likewise, we designed the My Trip+ mini app integrated with the SETUR Travel Line and AVIS Car Rental function, and services that may be needed both before and during the trip such as foreign exchange buying/selling to proactively meet the trip needs of our customers.
