One of the most crucial points in Alior Bank’s strategy applies to its employees, because the key drivers of Alior Bank’s “Digital Disruptor” strategy implementation includes the right organisational culture and high employee engagement; the bank has set a 60% employee engagement rate, by 2020. For their employees, the bank wants to create a truly digital and flexible working space that allows them to communicate, collaborate and complete tasks effectively. Employees have become accustomed to using powerful technology in their personal lives, and they expect to do the same in their professional lives. The goal is to transform the bank’s office environment into a truly digital workplace. To make it happen we are providing our employees with tools that will let them to collaborate and communicate effectively both inside and outside of the office environment. In 2018, as one of the first banks in Poland, Alior cooperated with Innergo Systems to fully equip employees with iPhones. Alior Bank delivered to these employees safe smartphones with a preinstalled set of applications, which are ready to use in just 3 minutes, without any technical expertise. More specifically, MDM (mobile device management) software allows the bank to manage employees centrally. Also, the bank is using the COPE concept, which separates employee’s company profile form their private one which allows them to use their smartphones for all purposes in a safe and transparent way. Access to apps such as cloud collaboration, video chats and messenger utilities support an agile way of working. New devices were also deployed with an emphasis on ensuring corporate security and increasing employee productivity.
